Glacier Trekking to Crap Pers

Accompanied by a mountain guide from the Pontresina Mountaineering School and secured by rope, the glacier trek starts at the Berghaus Diavolezza and leads through the Cambrena icefalls to Crap Pers. The route first follows a narrow hiking trail past Piz Trovat to the Pers Glacier. After a short break, crampons are put on. Roped together, participants then make their way across the impressive glacier crevasses toward Piz Palü. From Crap Pers, there are breathtaking views of Piz Palü, the Pers Glacier, and the Berghaus Diavolezza.

Those who wish to begin their hiking day surrounded by magnificent mountain scenery can spend the night at the Berghaus Diavolezza, wake up at a relaxed pace in the morning, and enjoy the view of the peaks and glaciers over breakfast.
